Interior design for the VR installation by Agència Catalana del Patrimoni Cultural (ACPC) in the old industry park Nau Bostik in Barcelona, within the Festival Culturista.
Client: Generalitat de Catalunya
The Agència Catalana del Patrimoni Cultural (AGPC) takes care of the cultural catalán heritage. One important aspect of their work is to scan and digitalise monuments, sculptures and many other important historic artefacts translating them into high resolución 3D images. With VR-glasses it’s possible for everybody to see and visit theses monuments in an immersive experience.
El Culturista is a free magazine mainly for families in Barcelona and is a trusted guide when you want to make plans with kids. It promotes and highlights cultural events in Barcelona for music, theatre, food, movie, workshop, festivals and many more activities. Once a year they organise their own festival Festival Culturista, celebrating the magazine.
The graphic intervention consisted in to customize the space with the corporate image of the AGPC Giravolt project using the following four resources: a system of 8cm wide adhesive tape that, starting from the angles generated by walls and pillars, ran through the entire space, generating rays of color, four vinyl rugs, a large-format graphic that covered the central wall and a set of furniture (cubes and benches) made of printed cardboard.
